Thanks, Sarah! I just used a glue stick. I find the trick is to use slightly more glue than is strictly necessary, making sure that the edges are well-adhered. They seem to do pretty well going through the mail that way. I do sometimes end up with faint glue streaks where the glue has squeezed out from between the envelope and whatever I’m gluing, but I’m in this for fun rather than perfection. :)

Me, too! And I have quite a few, including a number that need to be divided this fall, so the on paper version worked well this spring. :)

That’s wonderful! Just fantastic! I love the flowers that come up from ugly bulbs but you’re right! It’s a long and painful wait.

Great choices! I remember reading about the first story a while back. Thought it was cute. It was a safer time for children then, wasn’t it? :)

I like the Great’s initiative. Maybe I should add this one to the growing list for my young readers. Mail writers aren’t born, they’re created.

God bless the mighty mule, and all work horses. I choke when I see people riding little burros, mules, and even some horses.
